Browse events on a list or a map, discover groups near you, and follow hosts you like.
For: Guests

From signing in to "You're in!": finding an event and taking a spot.
Events shows the events of the groups you belong to and the ones you're invited to.
1.
Open Events.
2.
Switch between List and Map, or search by title.
3.
Open Filters to narrow by Location type, Category, Hide full or Near me.
The map shows each event's neighbourhood, never the exact address. Guests with a spot see the exact place on the event page from the day before it starts.
Discover groups1.
Open Discover groups to see groups that chose to be found, on a list or a map.
2.
Tap Find groups near me to see groups in your area. Party Up only asks for your location then.
3.
Join an open group with Join group; other groups need Request to join.
On someone's profile, tap Follow. When a new event you can see is published, you're told if you follow any of its hosts, and if you follow more than one, you still get a single alert. Following doesn't show you events you couldn't see before. If you follow each other, Chat appears on the profile.
A profile shows Events attended and, for someone who has hosted, Events hosted. Both count every event, however long ago.
Your Followers list, on your profile, has Follow beside everyone who follows you, so you can follow back in one tap.
Tip
Don't want someone at your events? Block from my events on their profile removes them from the events you host and stops them joining future ones. On an event with several hosts, a block by any one of them is enough. If someone you blocked hosts or is going to an event, the app tells you before you join, marks the event, and lets you know if they join later.
