Every alert lands in Alerts. Tap one to open it, or use Mark all read. Opening an alert, here or from a push notification, marks it read.
In a browser, turn them on with Enable notifications in Notification settings. Party Up never asks until you tap it.
On an iPhone or iPad, browser notifications only work after you add Party Up to your Home Screen and open it from there.
When you tap Log out, Party Up stops sending push notifications to that phone or browser. Sign in again to get them back.
TelegramWhen a push notification can't be delivered, Party Up can send the alert as a Telegram message instead. Connect Telegram in Linked accounts, then open the bot and send /start. Chat messages never go to Telegram.

New events covers both kinds of new event: one published by someone you follow, and one a group you belong to hosts itself. Turning it off stops both. An event that is only posted in a group, not hosted by it, doesn't alert the group's members: only the people who follow one of its hosts hear about it, and everyone else finds it in the group.
When a host changes the time, place or share per person of an event you're in or waiting for, you get one alert saying what changed, a couple of minutes after the edit, so several quick fixes arrive together. Date, time or place changed covers a new start time or place; Event details changed covers a new end time or share per person. The alert never names the place or the address: open the event to see them.
During quiet hours alerts wait until the end of the window, except alerts about a cancelled event, a spot opening up for you, or an event you're in moving to a new time or place within the next 24 hours. Reminders, announcements, change alerts and waitlist moves that would only arrive after the event starts are not sent. A reminder that would wait past the start comes just before your quiet hours begin instead, or not at all. An alert about a cancelled event also says why, when the host picked a reason. Joins and leaves wait about 30 seconds before the alert goes out, and the wait starts over with each new one. If several people join or leave in that time, you get one alert for all of them.
Quiet hours follow the Timezone in Notification settings. It starts as your phone's or computer's time zone; change it there if you need another.
Announcements and chatAnnouncements from hosts covers what a host sends to everyone who said yes, waitlist included. Chat messages covers the event chat, which alerts you once per conversation and never on Telegram.
Your calendarIn the phone app, turn on Calendar sync in Settings and events you are confirmed for are added to your calendar. Turning it off removes upcoming events from your calendar.
